Hello! I’m Ryan Murphy, creator of such hits as “Glee”, “American Horror Story”, and the Netflix series “Dahmer”…

Actually, that’s a DIFFERENT Ryan Murphy who beat me to it and used our name first. So, in effort to create my own identity I’m doing the traditional (and not at all pretentious) route of writers past and just doing my first initials. Hopefully I’ll make the likes of H.G. and J.R.R. proud.

This is the first official post on my Substack. I meant to do more before this but honestly I wasn’t sure how this works, and I’m still not totally sure if I do. But I’m going to try to make this a weekly habit in order to help out with my writing skills. Every Saturday I should be able to post a new Newsletter in an effort to continue practicing my writing. What will be the topic of each one? Who’s to say? I’ll probably have a different thing that I want to talk about each week.
